Brush Skimmer Minimax 60 W/S - 209651

The Lamor Minimax 60 W/S Skimmer (MM 60) is a high capacity brush wheel skimmer. It can be used free-floating deployed in a contained area where oil is concentrated or in open sea conditions. The MM 60 W/S works equally well for near shore, shallow water and open water skimming operations. The MM 60 W/S comprises a floating skimmer head with brush wheels with a diameter of 480mm. Surface water, oil and small debris are drawn into the skimmer by the downward rotation of the brush wheels. Oil and oily solids are submerged, oil sticks into the oleophilic brush, is lifted up, and then delivered into the collection sump.

The brush wheel consists of nearly 400,000 bristles giving a larger area for the oil to adhere to than any other oleophilic skimmer available. The MM60 W/S recovers all oil types, including diesel, fresh crude, high viscosity bunker oils and emulsions, while collecting almost no free water.

Mini Max 25

The Lamor Minimax 25 is a light-weight, modular oil skimmer that is easily transported and quickly assembled with no tools. The Minimax 25 utilises oleophilic brush, disc or drum recovery banks and is designed to recover oil from inland waters, lakes, rivers, shoreline, and nearshore environments including Arctic scenarios.

A modular system, the Minimax 25 consists of three easily assembled parts: a skimmer body, a collection hopper, and a recovery bank. The standard recovery bank is a stiff brush module that can be interchanged with a disc or drum recovery bank module. The simple design can be disassembled by hand in less than a minute providing full access to the interior of the unit facilitating on-site maintenance and cleaning.

The skimmer’s frame and hopper are made of durable, moulded polyethylene that is extremely easy to clean. The skimmer is entirely hydraulically operated and has a low power requirement. The unit can be connected to a suction pump or vacuum system.

MS10 Skimmer System

This is a multi purpose skimmer that can be used to skim most types of
hydrocarbons and can be supplied with a brush, disc or drum option., that can be changed over in less than 5 minuets. The skimmer can be supplied in 3 different ways of operation: the first being pneumatic with a pneumatic driven pump, the second operation mode would be with a diesel hydraulic powerpack and a hydraulic operated pump and the third mode of operation is with the use of a vacuum truck with hydraulics.

The skimmer body is made from aluminium this makes this skimmer light
weight and very easy to transport. The MS10 will skim 10m3/hr of 98% of oil and 2% of water. Larger types of the MS family are available. Application for the MS10 Would be ports, nearshore, freshwater applications and industrial applications.

Rock Cleaner LRC

The Rock Cleaner is a handheld suction nozzles with an integrated brush wheel for improved oil recovery. This product is designed for use on rocky shorelines, ports, roads, oil terminals, and airports. The LRC has a small hydraulically operated brush wheel removing oil from rocks and separating oil and water. The recovered oil is lead into a hopper behind the brush wheel from where the oil is sucked using a separate suction pump.

The weight of the hand held LRC is only 6.5kg it is very portable and user friendly, recovery of light oils to heavy oils with a low free water content of less that 5%.
